What is photo metadata verification?

Modern cameras, including the one in your phone, can record the location and time when a photo was taken.

The location is GPS data, like that used by your car's navigation system.

This GPS and time data are stored in the photo's EXIF metadata.

We extract that EXIF and save the GPS and date to know where you've been and when you were there.
